# How to reset your password – Checks Direct Client Portal

## Forgotten your password or unable to log in to the Checks Direct Client Portal? Follow this step-by-step guide to reset your password and regain access.

### **Common issues**

**Not receiving the password reset email?**  
Check your spam or junk folder and ensure you entered the correct registered email address.

**Reset link not working?**  
Password reset links expire after a short period. If the link has expired, request a new reset email.

**Account locked after multiple attempts?**  
Your account may be temporarily locked for security reasons.
